Know where the night is.

What's on tonight, which friends are going and how long the line is, before you leave the house. Lock the plan in one link, and know everyone got home.

Any email works. We only use it to tell you when Who's Outside opens on your campus.

The Tonight screen: Rooftop Social is the move, with Ava and Maya inside, a 14 minute line and Packed, then Neon Basement and Late Jazz Set.

01 · Sound familiar?

10:47 PM.
Where is everyone?

  • Flyers in ten different stories

    Tonight, in one feed

Every event on tonight in one place, with the price, the age rule and how many people are going. The night runs to 6 AM, so the after-party counts.

  • Who's actually going?

    Go where your friends go

See which friends are going to each event and who's already inside, so you end up with your people.

  • An hour in the wrong line

    Know the line first

People at the door say how the line is, from walked right in to brutal, so you know before you leave the house.

  • Sixty messages, no plan

    Plans that lock themselves

One link in the group chat. Everyone says in, out or in if enough go, and the plan locks itself once enough people are in.

  • Is it even popping?

    Know if it's packed

People inside say if it's packed, chill or dead, and if it's still going. When one spot clearly leads, the app calls it the move.

  • Did everyone get home?

    Everyone gets home

Set a home-by time before you head out. Your buddies hear when you're home, and hear if you're not.

02 · One night

How a good night goes.

  1. 9:00 PM

    Find the spot

The price, the age rule and which friends are going, on one card. Decided before your shoes are on.

The Rooftop Social event page: 10 PM to 3 AM, 7 going, Ava and Maya inside and Jay going.
  2. 9:30 PM

    Lock it in

One link for the after-party instead of sixty messages. It locks itself once enough of you are in.

A plan for Trio Night: one in, one waiting, needs one more, with I'm in, I'm in if and Out answers and a link to share.
  3. 11:37 PM

    Know the line

Short line, and you knew before you left. Say how it looks at the door and the next group knows too.

How's the line? at Rooftop Social, with answers from No line to Brutal and Door closed.
  4. 2:10 AM

    Made it home

Your buddies hear you got home, so nobody's up at 3 AM texting “u home?”

Tonight after a check-in: Maya got home at 11:32 PM, with I'm home and Ride home buttons.

03 · The launch film

The whole night, start to finish.

Sound on

Watch the launch film · 1:56

A night out in the app: the group chat asking where everyone is, tonight's events, a plan that locks itself, the line at the door, and everyone getting home.

Recorded from the real app, with a made-up cast and made-up venues.

04 · Your privacy

Your night stays yours.

  • No GPS

    Nobody tracks where you are.

The app never asks for your location. You decide when friends see you're inside, and when your buddies hear you're home.

  • No ads

    No ads. No tracking.

No ads in the feed, and nothing following you across other apps and websites.

  • Names

Strangers see a number. Friends see you.

Everyone else sees how many are going. Only mutual friends and your plan see your name, and you can hide that you're inside.

  • Addresses

    House parties stay private.

The address only goes to people going who linked a school email, and only once the host releases it on the day.
